ixCube 4-10 v 5.05 will be available for testing purposes soon to ixCube 4-10 v 4.0 registered users. We have added so many powerful features that is almost difficult to list all of them.
1) Integrated CFD Analysis. We have integrated ixCube CFD inside ixCube 4-10. Easy and fast setup to get a fluid flow analysis done in a few minutes with interactive wind flow, cross sections of wind speed and import/creation of Cp value channels and load cases out of the wind pressure.
2) New Flattening & Production Method based on BFF flattening theory. This powerful method is able to produce patterns out of any complex shape with very small deformation. Above this method we have added the ability to compensate using FEA analysis. Yes FEM Analysis is used to compensate and produce shrinked patterns based on the form-finding pre-stress.
3) Last but not least a full integration in Rhino 7 and a completely new plugin called ixCube Embedded. With this plugin you do not need to take care of the fem model anymore. ixCube Embedded will convert your CAD model in a working FEA model out of the box ready for Form-Finding, structural analysis and patterning.
